This is a single topic committee meeting in the snug to discuss proposals for changes to how the “Watch List” is managed. Details of the proposals are to be circulated to committee members prior to the meeting. This meeting is open to non-committee members who wish to observe the discussion.

The main attraction must of course be the choice of quality beers andciders at affordable prices and here they certainly don’t let you down. Across two floors of the Guildhall, they have a dazzling selection of cask beers from around the country with quite a few new breweries exhibiting each year along with a few great oldfavourites.

Hundreds of thousands of beer drinkers will be celebrating Beer Day Britain as they do each year. The focus of the day is the National Cheers To Beer (#cheerstobeer) toast at 7pm. This simple activity is not only marked across the UK but by beer drinkers around the world who participate each year on June 15th, with so many people joining in that #cheerstobeer trends on social media.

Stockport Beer Festival

The main attraction must of course be the choice of quality beers and ciders at affordable prices and here they certainly don’t let you down. Across two floors of the Guildhall, they have a dazzling selection of cask beers from around the country with quite a number of new breweries exhibiting each year along with a few great old favourites. On the ground floor they have a Beer in Bottle and Can bar. They sell not only British beers but also a choice of exotic continental ones as well.

Stockport was one of the first CAMRA festivals to style itself as a ‘Beer and Cider Festival’ so it is no surprise perhaps to find that our growth in cider consumption since those early days has been incredible. There is no better place to become a cider and perry devotee than at the Stockport Beer and Cider Festival. The Cider and Perry Bar can be found on the ground floor at Guildhall.
